Where To Use The SyriJet

The SiriJet Mark II can be used either as the sole means of delivering local Operative and Surgical anesthesia for vaious dental procedures - or as a means of obtaining oral mucosal anesthesia prior to needle insertion in all areas of the oral cavity.

This instrument can be used for:

  1. Infiltration anesthesia of both soft and hard tissues.
  2. Block anesthesia of the following nerves:
    1. Greater (Posterior) Palatine
    2. Naso (Anterior)_ Palatine
    3. Mental nerve block
    4. Incisive nerve block
    5. Long Buccal nerve block

The SyriJet II can be used as the sole means of delivering anesthesia for the following procedures:

Operative and Surgical Anesthesia

Cavity preparation in all upper and lower permanent incisors, cuspids and bicuspids.

Cavity preparation in all deciduous teeth.

Extrations:
All Upper and most Lower permanent incisors, cuspids, and bicuspids.
All Deciduous teeth.
All mobile or loosened permanent teeth.
Crown and Bridge preparation
Deep Scaling
Flap removal
Gingivectomy
Excision soft tissue lesions (fibroma, papilloma, etc.)
Incision and drainage
Placement of sutures - removal of sutures
Revision hypertrophic tissue
Reduction tuberosity
Excision mucous retention cyst (lip)
Tissue biopsies
Curettage
Copper band impressions
Cord retractions
Post-op removal of bone spicules
Application of arch bars and ligature wires
Removal of arch bars and ligature wires
The SyriJet will provide subtopical anesthesia to a depth of 1.5cm for painless needle insertion for such procedures as: Posterior Superior Alveolar nerve block, Inferior Alveolar nerve block, Pre-I.V. insertion, Etc.
